וַיִּבְקְע֨וּ הַשְּׁלֹשָׁ֜ה בְּמַחֲנֵ֣ה פְלִשְׁתִּ֗ים וַיִּֽשְׁאֲבוּ־מַ֙יִם֙ מִבּ֤וֹר בֵּֽית־לֶ֙חֶם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בַּשַּׁ֔עַר וַיִּשְׂא֖וּ וַיָּבִ֣אוּ אֶל־דָּוִ֑יד וְלֹֽא־אָבָ֤ה דָוִיד֙ לִשְׁתּוֹתָ֔ם וַיְנַסֵּ֥ךְ אֹתָ֖ם לַיהוָֽה׃
האָבן די דרײַ דורכגעבראָכן אין לאַגער פֿון די פּלִשתּים, און האָבן אָנגעשעפּט װאַסער פֿון דעם ברונעם פֿון בית-לֶחֶם װאָס אין טױער, און גענומען און געבראַכט צו דודן. אָבער דוד האָט עס ניט געװאָלט טרינקען, און האָט עס אױסגעגאָסן פֿאַר גאָט.
